After learning the Carnatic music from Dr. D S Satyavathi Mam, was singing for orchestra, Kannada movie industry and for a music studio. And Thought to teacv=h music to the talented people who cannot afford to learn. So that's how started my music academy.

With an MBA under her belt and fifteen years of professional singing experience in Kannada film music, she had already made her mark in the music industry. In August 2021, Shrilakshmi took a bold step forward by launching her own music channel. Driven by a noble purpose, she dedicated herself to teaching music for free to individuals who couldn't afford traditional lessons. Through her channel, she created engaging tutorials covering various aspects of music, from vocal techniques to music theory, catering to aspiring musicians of all backgrounds.
Shrilakshmi's impact didn't go unnoticed. She was recognized for her talent and dedication, earning opportunities to work with prestigious institutions like Aakashvani Phar Zenkara and Yuva Janotsava in Bangalore. Her contributions to the field were further validated when she received the Yuva Icon award from Aakashvani.
Recent accolades, including the Kannada Kanda Award from Kannada Sahitya Parishad Koppala and the Adarsha Dampatiglu award from Belaku Sahitya Forum, Raichur, underscored Shrilakshmi's influence and contribution to the cultural landscape.
Currently, Shrilakshmi serves as a faculty member at the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, where she specializes in conducting music workshops. Additionally, she has established the SSV Art Forum to nurture budding talent in the music industry, providing platforms and opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their skills.
